Joey Nichols 

Joey Nichols is a native West Texan who recently joined the Aycock Realty Group, but his relationship with the Aycock family spans several decades. He and Brian Aycock, ARG owner and broker, had talked from time to time about hoping to work together and when Brain opened his own brokerage, Joey jumped at the opportunity to join him. Joey began his real estate career in July 2013, after over 30 years as a teacher, coach, principal and superintendent in Lorenzo ISD and Petersburg ISD. He has been married to Sydney Nichols for 42 years. Sydney is a retired teacher who began a second career in nursing in 2012. They have four children. Jody (Leigh Ann) is a Texas Tech University graduate and Vice President, Corporate and National Accounts for Takeda Pharmaceuticals America. They and their three children live in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. J’Rae Pineda (Javier) a WTAMU graduate, is District Librarian for Shallowater ISD, where they and their son make their home. Taylor, a Texas Tech University undergraduate, recently graduated from the Texas Tech School of Law and in employed as a licensed attorney at Moss Law Firm in Lubbock. Paige Loomis (Tristin), a Lubbock Christian University graduate, runs Scarlet Mercantile Boutique from their home in Shallowater, where they live with their daughter. Joey and Sydney are both graduates of Texas Tech University and proud supporters of Red Raider sports. Joey not only works with clients in Lubbock, but clients from across the South Plains as well. Many of his clients are former students, teachers, and coaches he worked with (and sometimes coached against!) He welcomes the opportunity to visit with anyone about their real estate needs and enjoys the relationships that are built in the home buying and selling process.
